Established only four years, Care Dynamics have been regional finalists in the Great British Care Awards 2011, 2012 and 2013, however on Friday 31st October at the York Railway Museum presentation ceremony, we won the prestigious 2014 Putting People First Award.

Care Dynamics provide care and support to the entire spectrum of people with many varying needs. Driven by a genuine passion we provide highly trained, enhanced DBS checked, experienced personal assistants. Our ethos is simple “to treat all as we would expect to be treated ourselves”. Our mission is clear “to enhance the lives of those we serve”.

This GBCA award proves that our dedication really has improved the lives of those we support by allowing them to make life changing decisions and take control via self-directed care/support plans. We have implemented measures to ensure our service evolves to meet the ever changing needs of our customers. We mainly achieve this by simply asking questions and listening very carefully to the answers we are given.

For example: we have a comprehensive “introduction programme” where we meet prospective customers and their families to ensure every single requirement is covered in minute detail. After careful consideration, we offer total choice, empowerment and control by providing profiles of prospective carers. The profile lists vital information about the staff member including, relevant experience, qualifications, interests, languages spoken, whether they are a driver or not and a personal comment regarding themselves. We then offer carer interviews to ensure compatibility.

We believe that although everyone should be treated equally and be given the same options and choices, no two people are the same so it’s fundamentally important to ensure the service we provide meets the individual’s needs. In summary, our service is bespoke for each and every customer because this is their right.

We then monitor the benefit of our services via regular service reviews and customer questionnaires, making immediate changes where identified/requested.

During the past 12-months our organisation has rapidly expanded, however our success cannot be solely attributed to our business acumen but strongly influenced by both the quality of our service and care team, combined with a genuine desire to “put people first”. In practice this ethos has strengthened our reputation as “people who really do care for people”.
